Full Professor in the Computer Architecture and Technology Area of the Computer Science and Engineering Department at the University of Oviedo and Principal Investigator of the Computer Engineering (ICOM) research group. Research interests include computer technology and architecture, computer vision, real-time image processing, infrared thermography, edge-to-cloud AI architectures, and intelligent inspection systems. Held research stays at Université Laval (Canada), University of Pennsylvania (USA, Fulbright Scholar), and University of L’Aquila (Italy).
